Summer is on its way and while the weather is still somewhat pleasant and spring like, things are going to heat up fast!
If you are like many, by mid-June you are looking for all the ways to beat the summer heat, from blasting the AC, to taking dips in the pool, to sipping on ice cold Sweet Tea Mojitos or creamy cold brew coffee and enjoying some frozen treats!
Yes, cocktails, mocktails and frozen treats, like ice cream, milkshakes and popsicles, are essential in the summer and today I’ve got you covered!
This recipe for Coffee Cinnamon Toast Crunch Milkshake is inspired by all those “trashed” up milkshakes that have become infamous over the past few years.
You know the ones that have been everywhere from swanky restaurants, to ice cream parlors and diners, to popular fast food burger joints like Shake Shack and even Burger King.
However, I’ve taken the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Milkshake to the next level by adding my favorite summer drink, cold brew coffee. My Cinnamon Toast Crunch Milkshake recipe is also a little different than many other cereal milkshakes I’ve seen out there, since I don’t “soak” the cereal in milk to create Cinnamon Toast Crunch flavored milk or “cereal milk” to use in this milkshake recipe.
When I first tried that method to create this cereal milkshake, to me the shake tasted just like soggy cereal. However, when actually blending the dry cereal into the milkshake, you not only got a stronger Cinnamon Toast Crunch flavor, you also get little pieces of cinnamony, crunchy cereal with each and every sip, which in my opinion, is the best part of this cool and creamy loaded milkshake!
